Setting up your Slackline
Get to know your gear and how to use it. With a primitive-style slackline kit, you can set up for a day of slacklining using a couple of trees. No trees, no problem: We have a solution for that too.
The Gear
webbing
a flat 1-inch wide nylon or polyester line
tree pro
protective barrier that goes around a tree under the slackline to protect both the tree and gear from abrasion
anchor sling
a short piece of heavy-duty webbing serving as the anchor points at each end of the slackline
carabiners
a type of metal shackle with a spring loaded gate
line locker
metal ring used to make an attachment point on the webbing
